At the sector level, the Industrial index decreased by 5.10%, the Financial index decreased by 0.80%, and the Services index decreased by 0.45%.

As for sub sector indices, the Commercial Services, Electrical Industries, Educational Services, Food and Beverages, Technology and Communication, Insurance sectors increased by 3.46%, 2.86%, 0.98%, 0.96%, 0.93%, 0.34% respectively. While the Mining and Extraction Industries, Utilities and Energy, Banks, Real Estate, Health Care Services, Diversified Financial Services, Textiles, Leathers and Clothings, Hotels and Tourism, Chemical Industries, Transportation, Engineering and Construction sectors decreased by 6.75%, 1.48%, 0.87%, 0.71%, 0.62%, 0.50%, 0.48%, 0.47%, 0.37%, 0.33%, 0.05% respectively.

The top five gainers were, the Philadelphia International Educational Investment Company by (6.25%), Jordanian Duty Free Shops by (5.63%), Specialized Jordanian Investment by (5.00%), Siniora Food Industries Plc by (4.88%), and Euro Arab Insurance Group by (4.47%).

The top five losers were, Arab Phoenix Holdings by (7.69%), Jordan Phosphate Mines by (7.47%), Jordan Commercial Bank by (7.00%), Assas For Concrete Products Co. Ltd by (6.33%), and The Arab Potash by (6.31%).
