As for sub sector indices, the Utilities and Energy, Diversified Financial Services, Mining and Extraction Industries, Educational Services, Hotels and Tourism, Banks, Food and Beverages sectors increased by 1.98%, 0.79%, 0.78%, 0.33%, 0.28%, 0.26%, 0.17% respectively. While the Textiles, Leathers and Clothings, Technology and Communication, Chemical Industries, Transportation, Insurance, Real Estate, Engineering and Construction sectors decreased by 1.12%, 0.53%, 0.23%, 0.19%, 0.17%, 0.13%, 0.08% respectively.

The top five gainers were, the Jordan Kuwait Bank by (6.17%), Arab Phoenix Holdings by (5.00%), Amwaj Properties by (4.55%), Al-zarqa Educational & Investment by (4.25%), and United Financial Investments by (4.03%).

The top five losers were, Jordan International Investment Co. by (4.35%), Sabaek Invest Company P.l.c by (3.13%), Al Manara Islamic Insurance Company by (2.94%), Jordanian Realestate Company For Development by (2.90%), and Afaq Holding For Investment & Real Estate Development Co. P.l.c by (2.78%).
